Remedies for Chapped Lips | Tips&Tricks

Hello, guys

I do not know about you but me, personally I am desperately waiting for spring and warm weather to come already, but unfortunately we still have one more week to wait for that. So, until that, I have thought that the tips that I am going to give you are very useful, taking into consideration that it’s basically freezing outside.

There are a couple of things that you need to know about preventing or remedying chapped lips:

1. Drink LOTS of water

Drink as much water as possible. This tip is not only good for your lips but also for your hair, your skin, basically your whole body. 

2. Exfoliate your lips

This is the best instant remedy for dry and dehydrated lips. There are two possibilities for that. One is using an actual exfoliating lip cream, but if you don’t want to spend your money on that, you can simply just use your toothbrush by softly rubbing your lips with it. 

3. Moisturize

Moisturize your lips A LOT. Either using a lip balm, vaseline or pot marigold cream it is very beneficial for the appeareance of your lips. I personally use this Yves Rocher lip balm every single day and I am very pleased with it.

Hello, guys 🙂

How are you?  I don’t know about you but I am so overwhelmed that the warm weather has come. I love to see the flowers blossoming, the birds singing and the sun shining and I am also overwhelmed to be finally able to say: SPRING is here!

Now that weather is finally coping with me, I am able to be more versatile about my style. I’ve been trying different types of outfits the past week and I wanted to share them with you, maybe you can find some inspiration for yourself.

School Outfit Ideas | Winter

Hello, everyone 🙂

How are you? 

I just got home from class and I’m preparing myself a relaxing bath with some vanilla bath bombs, but I wanted to write this post before I can relax properly. As I mentioned on my Instagram and Facebook page, I will post the details of my outfit of the day, but I decided to include another outfit that I wore last week. The first outfit is more on the classy side, whereas the other one is very casual yet trendy.

Born This Way Foundation | Review

Hello, guys 🙂

Happy New Year, everyone!  This new year, view the world with a positive outlook, speak your heart out with confidence, listen to others as well as your inner voice and you will be on the correct road in the correct direction. If the previous year hasn’t given you something to be happy and proud of, don’t fret. If the 31st of December signifies the end of a year, the 1st of January signifies the beginning. You have life; you have hope, go out there and accomplish all that you want. Happy 2017!

I decided that my first post of 2017 would be a detailed review of the famous Born This Way foundation by Too Faced. I have purchased this like 3 weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it 5 times since then. I am in the colour Porcelain, which is a fair shade with neutral undertones. 

Now, what it’s really cool is that it is said to be infused with coconut water to delicately replenish skin’s moisture levels, alpine rose to brighten skin’s appearance and promote elastcity and also hyaluronic acid for a smoother, more youthful appearance, so that’s another thing that made me want to get it. 

If you’ve seen the marketing for Born This Way, you know it promises benefits that blur the lines between skincare and makeup. With claims to moisturize and brighten skin while providing medium-to-full coverage that is “so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections”. I can’t see the difference in my skincare, but as far as makeup, it is one of the best foundations I have ever used. 

 

I have normal to combination skin, and the formula works very well on my type of skin. The coverage is medium with one layer and full with two layers, as it is said on the packaging. It looks flawless on the face, exactly like you were “born this way”.

The are only two things that I do not like about this foundation.

  1. If you are wearing it alone, without any powder, it does transfer quite easy. So I totally recommend using a setting powder with this. 
  2. It doesn’t have any SPF in it, which is not that big of a deal, but I do like to take extra protection of my skin.

 

After all, if I had to rate Born This Way foundation, I would definitely give it a 9/10. I totally recommend trying this foundation out, because you will be surprised of it’s quality.

Fall Inspired Makeup Look | 2016

Hello, guys 🙂

How are you? I’m currently enjoying a big cup of green tea and scrolling down the news feed. 

Yesterday I finally managed to film the makeup look that I posted on instagram like 2 or 3 weeks ago and also edited it this morning. Firstly, I almost edited it last night but all the progress was lost and I can say that I sweared for like 15 minutes after that incident. But nevermind, after 3 hours of editing I managed to upload it.

Chocolate Apple Cupcakes

Hello, guys 🙂

How are you ?  Hope you’re having a lovely evening! If not, let me  try to sweeten it up a little bit.

Yesterday I felt like I haven’t made cupcakes for a very long time and I was craving some sooo bad, so I chose to make some “fall” themed ones. These cupcakes are sooo delicious and they are also very easy to make. You only need a few ingredients that you may also already have in your kitchen. 

I personally love the taste of these, and I can not wait to try a lot more recipes in the near future. Please let me know how your cupcakes ended up 🙂

RECIPE

Composition

  • 150 gr. flour
  • 1 ltbs. baking powder
  • 150 gr. sugar
  • 100 gr. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 100 gr. milk chocolate/ bitter chocolate
  • 2 apples

 

Begin by mixing the butter with sugar until it becomes pasty and has a fluffy consistancy. Add the egg, mix the composition then gradually add flour and 1 ltbs of baking powder. Chop the apples with a grater, melt the chocolate by steaming it, add it to the composition and finally add the apples that you chopped earlier. Make sure you let the water from the chopped apples drain a little bit before you add them to the composition, otherwise it will ruin everything that you’ve made until this point. Preheat the oven at 180 while you put the composition on the paper forms. Finally, put the cupcakes in the oven and wait for about 15-25 minutes. 

Ornate

  • 100 gr. butter
  • 2 tbs. milk
  • 80 gr. milk chocolate/ bitter chocolate
  • 150 gr. caster sugar

 

Mix the butter with caster sugar until it is made homogeneous. After that add milk and the melted chocolate. After the cupcakes cooled down, ornate them with this composition and add more apples if you want.
